Показатель смертности особей облавливаемой части популяции длиннопалого рака, начиная с возраста 3 года и более, колеблется в пределах от 45 до 68 % для каждого возрастного класса в течение года, что составляет примерно 50 % от уровня общей (промысловой и естественной) смертности особей каждого возрастного класса. На основании этих данных рекомендована доля ежегодного вылова раков − 45 % от промысловой части популяции. Принятая в правилах лова раков промысловая мера, равная 10,5 см и более, гарантирует участие самок длиннопалого рака в 1−2 периодах размножения. Промысловая мера соответствует средним значениям между максимальной скоростью роста особи, которая достигается у раков 5-летнего возраста, и суммарной наибольшей биомассой, которая отмечается у раков в возрасте 3 года.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>An annual catch of 45 % of the commercial stock is recommended on the basis of productivity and mortality of mature individuals. Commercial stock is made up of individuals with a total length of ≥ 10.5 cm (from the tip of the rostrum to the end of the telson, TL). Female individuals of narrow-clawed crayfish participate in 1–2 reproduction periods before they reach the commercial stock value of 10.5 cm. Crayfish individuals of 12 cm TL at the age of 5 years have the maximum observed growth rate.
